Whitford Learning Centre has been providing quality childcare for over 20 years and is now owned and operated by locals Kim & Joe O’Neill.
After many years of holding down corporate careers both in New Zealand and overseas, Kim and Joe returned home with their two young boys and fell in love with Whitford, the community and the all the opportunities raising a young family back in New Zealand has to offer.
Kim and Joe live on site with their family and both are hands on with running the Centre. Kim is the Centre Director and her management experience in the corporate environment has provided her with well honed skills to lead an effective team and to ensure the right systems and procedures are in place to deliver on her promise; which is to bring you the best in care and education.
Most of all however, being a Mum herself, Kim truly understands the value of providing an environment that fosters settled, happy and well cared for children.
That’s why you’ll see her on a daily basis in and around the centre, mucking in with whatever needs doing and having fun with the kids.
